hi! we’re vale and maggie and have been besties since 2013. we created this brand with the idea that our friendship and compatible mental disorders might be relatable to others. we want everyone to feel as empowered and confident in our designs as we do!

dear delusions, is a love letter to our crazy, delusional, mad thoughts  

these terms along with many others have been used in society as a way to describe and belittle women. 

we, as women, believe it’s time to take back the terms that have been used derogatorily all our lives. While mental health is no joke, we want to not only destigmatize mental illness, but also show the light side of it. While our focus is women’s mental health, anyone with a passion for normalizing the not so fun side of having a brain has come to the right place. Whether you were born a woman or joined the club later in life, you are part of our mission. 

no matter your age, gender, race, ethnicity, size, religion, culture, anything you are - you are meant to wear our brand. We may use normally ‘gendered’ terms, but everything is and always will be gender neutral so come one and come all to try and own the crazy!
